As per the company Web site.
“The scientifically based formulation in Ultra PrimeTM features potent amino acids and nutrients that are combined in a precise peptide formulation with other biologically active nutrients. When it is taken as directed, these ingredients will work synergistically as a powerful secretagogue to effectively raise HGH levels. Powerful amino acids such as L-Glutamine, L-Arginine, L-Lysine, Glycine and Colosotrum, which have been shown to increase HGH levels, and nutrients from Prime Factor, are combined in a precise peptide formulation with other biologically active proteins to effectively raise HGH levels.”
Is this just another amino acid product…?
Product Web site
The answer is yes, this is just another amino acid HGH product. While they do say it’s a proprietary blend it’s not much different than other products that use the same compounds, except that this one is priced at $87.00. (Which seems a little on the high side.)
Ingredients:
- Folate 150 mcg
- Magnesium 150mg
- L-Arginine Aspartate 2.5 g
- Glycine 4 g
- L-Arginine 3 g
- Proprietary Blend of L-Glutamine, colustrum, L-Lysine, Taurine, DNA/RNA (from brewers yeast)
- citric acid
- malic acid
- beet juice powder
- glucose polymers
Conclusion:
We didn’t find any references to any studies done on this product on the company Web site.
“All the indicated ingredients in Ultra Prime have been scientifically proven to raise HGH levels in the body to younger, more physiologic levels.”
The above statement is just a little misleading…
True, amino acids can raise HGH levels. However, scientific studies as referenced in the above statement are not about the Ultra Prime product itself but rather studies conducted using levels of amino acids at much greater concentrations.
We would have to say pass on the Ultra Prime product.
